Will in joint property

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 December 2015 This query is : Resolved 
We have a joint property (flat purchased in joint name through self earned money) and want to write a will in our child's name who is above 18. Can any one of us write a Will, sign and witness it. Or both have to sign the Will. As the other one does not believe in writing a will or document the property for some reason. Please help as i do not want to let go off this hard earned property or to be misused.
