hello experts
One of my friends is working in a BPO in Bangalore. He is a muslim and has to perform namaz on friday at 2 noon.
He is not given the break in the company to perform this religious duty. Is there any provisions in the labour law in favour of my friend.

This issue raised by you is very sensitive in nature, whether a company can permit or not is decided on the basis of the company's policy and also, the nature of job performed by your friend.
