Sir,
if a wife files a case against her husband u/s 498a, and if their family ( husband and wife) after their marriage they are never for more than 15 days in the in-laws house, and they are staying separately in another state, and if at all after returning to home town, basing on the previous things happened in between themselves, that lady can file a case under section 498a, on the family members of the husband also?
And, if it is the case the witnessess provided by the lady, ( her mother, brother, and friends) are enough to take the action against the whole family. Is there no need for proper investigation by police? they can directly file the case and take all of them in to custody?
