Raj Kumar Makkad (Adv P & H High Court Chandigarh)     18 April 2012

Abhishek manu singhvi s*x cd & court order

Congress Leader & Spokesperson, Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi is in the middle of a Sex Scandal. This controversy has stormed the Indian media and political world and both Advocate Singhvi as well as the Congress party is running for cover. His driver for several years Mukesh Kumar Lal has been accused of filming a Sex CD involving Abhishek Manu Singhvi with another leading advocate and of Blackmailing him through SMS to make the CD public through media channels.

Abhishek Singhvi and his former colleague Abhimanyu Bhandari approached the court and stated that they came to know about the Sex CD through some political friends that many media channels were in possession of the alleged CD.

He also alleged that the content of the CD was “forged, concocted, morphed and fabricated”. Any move to telecast the alleged CD would infringe the right to reputation of Singhvi, the plea said.

The Delhi High Court in its judgement ruled that “Till the next date of hearing, the defendants (media house), their agents and all others acting for and/or on their behalf are restrained from publishing, broadcasting and disseminating or distributing in any form or any manner the content of any alleged CD or any other material as described in the plaint in relation to plaintiff 2 (Singhvi),”

“Irreparable injury is likely to be caused to the reputation and goodwill of Singhvi in case the defendants are not restrained. Accordingly, issue notice to defendants (one to four) which is returnable by May 21,” the Court said.

The court has also sought response by May 21 from Aaj Tak, Headlines Today and India Today and former driver of Singhvi, alleged mastermind behind the CD scandal.

Many people have opined that as Abhishek Manu Singhvi declares that the content is forged and morphed and fabricated and he has come to know about it only through other people, why is he so worried about such fake CD ???

Does he really have any proper answer or is it smoke without fire – only time will say.

Dear Sir,

Thank  you for providing detailed information about this matter.

If the CD is fake, then there is no problem.

If it is not fake, what right do we have to peek into the private life of Mr Singhvi? Politicians, film stars, judges, lawyers, everyone has a right to privacy. Our country of one billion did not come into being through men constantly practising brahmacharya. It is alright for Sri Krishna to "enjoy" with a thousand gopis but Mr Singhvi, you and I have to stay in line. Stop this hypocricy regarding basic matters of life.

Why  persons like Vishwa indulge in loose talks when giving examples of God to justify or explain certain things done by fallen souls.  what moral rights do they have to drag names of God for any matter ?    If Tom, Dick  and Harry does anything, do we have  any right to compare such things with Supreme Lord ?    Perhaps stupids and idiots with poor fund of knowledge only talk nonsense about the Supreme Lord.   They should first read Srimad Bhagavatham to know What Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Shri Krishna did with Gopis.   If they read Srimad Bhagavatham, then they would certainly repent for making such a remark against the Supreme Lord.   And such cowards can only talk bad things about Hindu Gods.  If any one uttered such words for gods or saints of  other religions, he would have got befitting reply in words as well as in action decisively.

I am of the view that it is good for Singhvi, that the matter has surfaced before the public, and it will give him the oportunity to prove his innocence with litmus test of the contents of the CD in the court. Otherwise, without such publicity Singhvi, could have been defamed secretly eternally, only to be buried in his grave, and that would be more demaging to his reputation. If the same is proved falsse, well he knows what to do.

It is better for us to leave the matter for the moment till the issue is finally settled.

This Hindu religion is one of the most crippling influences on our society. It is time we stopped worshipping elephant headed gods and monkey gods, gods with four arms, gods wearing serpents, goddesses with eight arms riding tigers etc. I am not ashamed to claim that God is dead, it is a studied attitude based on sound reasoning.

As for friend Sighvi, I am glad one more sycophant is out of the scene in Delhi Durbar
