About gram kan

Namasthe madam/sir,I am from Telangana yadadri bhuvanagiri district.My grand father has a house and some open place in grama kantam.my grand father passed away in 2011We have been living there since 40 years, what is the posedure to get property registration. Please explain it..

If the property was enjoyed by your grandfather without any registered documents in his name, then on the basis of patta on his name, his legal heirs can execute a mutually agreed partition deed and get the same registered.

This will enable you people to acquire a legally recognised title to the property.

I think that the Gramakhantam lands have been allotted/occupied in villages of Telangana and AP also for decades.  The AP government listed certain lands as Village gramakhantam lands and can be registered.  The Telangana Government did not issue orders till the year 2023.  So inquire at the District Collector's officer for proper guidance.
