Accident compensation

 

Motor accident — Death of one of claimant — Not bringing heirs on record — Appeal cannot be maintained in the absence of some of the claimants as the decree cannot be altered in absence of all the parties. (See 2011 (8) LJSOFT 76)

 

Motor accident — Tribunal could award compensation more than what was claimed when it came to a conclusion that higher compensation was the entitlement. (See 2011 (8) LJSOFT (NAG) 79)
