Active Farmers Daughter wants to buy Agri Land in Gujarat

Dear Members,

I would like to buy a agricultural land in Gujarat, I am married to a non-agriculturist. But my Father is an active farmer, he owns about 50 acres of Mango Orchard and about 10 acres of Rice fields. All of which was inherited from my grand father. What are my chances of getting a Farmer status.

Is there such a thing as a Farmer / Agriculturist I.D card or some Licence or Certification in Gujarat? Or simply my father can add me as an owner in one of his properties.

Kindly suggest. Any help from will be appreciated. Thanks.

The ROR  (7/12)  extract of your father"s name of agricultural land with ext. 12 containing  (SELF)  issufficient to proove your father agricultural status.

Since you say that you want to buy land in gujarat,it means that you do not belong to gujarat. If that be so, agriculturist of  another state is not entitled to purchase land in gujarat.Though married to non-agriculturist does not disentitle you to purchase agr.land, you are agrst. and you can prove by producing your father's revenue records.
