Advice required

ubject : Request for advice
Message :
In the year 2012 me and my 5 neighbours agreed on reconstructing a kacha road to our residence.Actually this road goes through the pattah areas of our neighbours. As per the verbal agreement(said to be documented later)I gave Rs.45000 as my contribution and no receipt/paper was given. After one year I had to leave that place for my job. Some of the neighbours did some work on the road and asking me for more money. When refused, they threaten and say that a gate would be putup and only pedestrian path will be allowed. What step should I take?It is a perplexing situation because if I refuse to pay they will ask me to back out with my money and if I agree to pay they will again demand more  as my house is at the farther end of the road. Kindly send your valuable advice.

Laying of the Roads, water pipe lines, Drainage pipe lines all these works done by the local municipality. Neighbours are not eligible for these types of works. Give complaint to the local authorities. Give a police complaint on teaching grounds.

this may be covered under easement right.  But such cases can be advised only be someone who sees all papers.
