Advocate as an witness

In a civil suit plaintiff appoints a Lawyer and he files the suit on behalf of plaintiff and then plaintiff files a vakalatnama of another lawyer. Now my suit is in the stage of plaintiff evidence and the first lawyer who initiates the suit has filed affidavit as an witness. Now my question is whether it is admissible? If not, then what are remedies available to me as an defendant
