Agricultural Land of Grandfather

Hello Sir/Madam,
Need your help
We have a Agriculture plot in Rajasthan 2 acre which is in Kotputli area Jaipur District in name of my Grandfather.There was no sale deed to the frined, however the property was given for sowing seeds to grandfather friend from last 20 years we have not visited or contacted him.We don\'t know anything about the current satus of plot.
Can we get possession of the plot?
Please reply and on which ground can we get the plot?
Please help

Claim the land back from the person as this was given on license not on lease it is the property of your grandfather being registrated in his name, no question of adverse possession.

Even if he holds lands under his possession see who is paying tax .when it came to Ur knowledge because it was given by Ur g.f to his friend It is not so easy to claim adverse possession because if u go to court it takes atleast. 20 yrs. according to my opinion every case winning possibility will be 50:,50 only.so don't loose hopes.u go and ask him.if he deny issue legal notice again if he deny file suit for declaration and title.if he comes to compromise compromise for half rate cheap rate.
