Yes (Refer Rule 9)

You may do so, but it is always preferable to use sequence IDs.
In any case you will have to submit sequence listing in electronic format.

Please be informed that apart from the sequence listing in electronic format, the Patent Office by way of an Office Circular dated January 12, 2010 made it mandatory to provide the sequence listing in paper form as well on the reasoning that squence listing is part of the specification.
This provision is in force inspite of the debate surrounding it since you may end up paying a lot of fees for extra pages in such a scenario (imagine a sequence listing of 200 pages).
