ASTROLOGY IS A SCIENCE :  BOMBAY HC

 
Maybe the Mumbai HC judges are unware that literally all marriages in India, are performed AFTER consultation and strictly within the parameters of ASTROLOGY (date, time, place, etc....)

YET, current age marriages end up on 498A or under DVAct or other Violences, Divorces, Childlessness, Adultery, Live-in relations, and others.

I presume that it would also be best if the HC opens up an Astrology section,  wherein people would be legally given Astrology counseling & directions/orders.

Also the present laws may be modified to include damages, compensation, penalties, imprisonment etc....  for false or negligent Astrology counseling & directions. Appropriate laws may be modified (IPC, CrPC,  CPA, CPC, DCAct etc....)

These Hypothetic Astrologers have conspirated MAHADASHA of KARWA-CHATURTHI, VATSAVITRI, Ekadashi to Poornima alternate day Vruts / fasts to women to keep them for SEVA of PATI-PARMESWAR and to treat them like PAIR KI JOOTI, BHOGYA, A DANCING DOLL ON THEIR FINGER TIPS......... marriages ending in court even after kundlis matching could be because of many other reasons:

1. astrologer who was consulted wasn't qualified enough or had little knowledge.but he chose this profession to earn some money.(very few astrologers are actually perfect in astrology work nowadays FYI)

2. either the girl's family or the boy's family did not reveal correct birth details,perhaps because there was some dosha in the kundli,which they wanted to hide.

P.S-if you notice,nowadays people rely less and less on kundli,unlike olden days.and in olden days marriages were more long lasting also.

kindly note that in india(where kundlis are matched)divorce rates are the lowest,comared to other countries,where they are not      :)

3.Lastly astrology does not "predict exactly what will happen"

it only tells you the possibilities that MAY ARISE.These possibilities can be avoided or lessened in intensity(for eg: an accident) by adopting proper spiritual practices.

Lastly a kundli helps you to diagnose your future well in advance,based on your balance of karma.

It helps you to know what good and bad may happen.

So,it should be taken as a doctor's diagnosis and the medicines of spirituality should then be consumed to avoid or lessen the the intensity of forthcoming -ve possibilities we are about to face,about which it's given in the chart.

In my opinion it is also  mathematics
 

Another manipulation in a “MYTH” to prove it as a “SCIENCE”

I am joining this debate very late. The majority opinion appears to be that astrology is a science. What is a science? Can we say that Chemistry is a science? No one will dispute the answer to this question. But 600 years ago chemistry was not a science. The predecessor of Chemistry was called alchemy and it did not progress much. Then the modern era dawned in Europe and science and scientific methods were propounded. In science something has to be proven either theoretically, experimentally or by plain experience.

Everyone would have heard of Sir Isaac Newton and his theory of gravity. Newton acquired a lot of wealth by the application of his inventions. Then he invested ₤5000/- in the share market. In a few years it became ₤25000/-. Then his greed increased. He invested the whole of ₤25000/- again in the market. In another few years he lost the entire amount. Then he was stated to have exclaimed “I can accurately predict the movement of planets, but not the way people behave. This is the crux of astrology. Very many people do not know the difference between astronomy and astrology. Astronomy is a science, but not astrology.  Belief in astrology is only a question of faith. If one questions an astrologer and his predictions he will get angry.

Is modern medicine a science? The answer is both yes and no. We know many diseases, which were formerly thought to be incurable are being treated and cured by modern medicine. That is science. There is proof. At the same time there are many persons, who advertise medicines making tall claims without any proof. That is fraud and not science. In modern medicine (I do not use the word allopathy, because there is no such thing), when a molecule is invented, its therapeutic value should be proven before its commercial introduction in the market. In order to test its efficacy, it is administered to a certain number of patients under controlled conditions. There is a problem here. As patients would be anxious to get their ailment cured, they would feel that they are partially or completely cured. This is called placebo effect. In order avoid such things; a double blind test will be performed. When some patients would be given the real medicine, others would be administered placebos. Neither the doctor nor the patients would know which the real medicine was and which a placebo was. If a majority of those who took the real medicine and their doctors report that there was curative effect, and a majority of those administered placebo report negative results, that will be considered a proof of the efficacy of the medicine.

Are any such tests performed in the case of astrology? No astrologer will agree, because he would lose his name and business. Prof: Abraham Kovur challenged astrologers. He said that he would bring the horoscope of a few persons unknown to the astrologer and the astrologer should say who was a male and who was a female and who was dead and who was still alive. There were no takers for the challenge. If anyone has any dispute regarding the proposed questions, one can propose some other questions also.   

Astrology, like religion is a matter of faith. Something that is based purely on faith cannot be called a science. One may say that it is a pseudo-science.
