Dear Srinivas,

Use of Information Technology is the best way to stop corruption but unfortunately it is not properly using by our corrupted judiciary system. :P

If you wish to know about your case status then you can visit the following link but you may get (Http 404 Not Found or Http 500 Internal Server Error or other errors  ;)  :P)

You can get it without advocate also.

You can file RTI or you can hire some court clerk. he will help you.

When you can get the same by applying certified copies; why are you breaking your head here and there.

Well God may have his own designs; just curious how come RTI is applicable?

RTI is applicable for all public information and can be filed to any public authority (Except few as per RTI act).

You mean when I have to get my son's birth certificate by paying prescribed fee; I can just file an RTI for the same? Will the birth information given under RTI by the PIO would be accepted in lieu of birth certificate?

Will the RTI information  be accepted in any other court as it is? Remember certified documents are acceptable as it is in any court of India, whereas information obtained under RTI act is not at all admissible evidence unless the PIO comes and deposes the truthfulness of the documents.

Rest, one can go on justifyinng one's stand. :-)
