i had a joint account in bank with my wife. after my divorce , i want to remove her name or my name from account , however the bank is denying to remove either name saying that they need signature from both the parties
my ex-wife is under no obligation to sign and i do not know her whereabouts , given that scenario, what is the legal solution. i have apporached banking ombusdman and also filed complain with consumer court.
what is way to address this? do we have any judgement to that effect
i was also ready to indemnify bank in case my ex- files a claim on bank regarding her name removal
i am the primary account holder and she is secondary. this was orginally my account and i had included her name after marraige
