Hi , there is a small village in Karnataka state . All the villagers belong to same community and are relatives as well . As per villagers caste certificate and social welfare department survey the villagers belong to ST .
An individual of the village was appointed for a government job on ST reservation. An enquiry was held on his caste issue after 20 years of his service and was proved by Caste verification committee that he belongs to ST in 2004 . Later in 2016 the same committee has declared that this person belongs to OBC .
Now could we rise a PIL and come to a conclusion that to which community this villagers belogn to ?
As per my knowledge the caste verification committee has no rights to review it's own order . Please suggest whether we can go for a PIL or anything else ?
