Company not paying while i am idle

I joined a BPO company which is providing services to Canara HBC OBC life insurance company of payment reminder calls. They provided me paid Induction training for 10 days. Then they assigned me for certification procedure and i get cleared from there too. But unfortunately after certification the lockdown is imposed in whole delhi... Then they command me to arrange a device and internet connection by myself. If I can and want to work from home. That was even good for me i arranged my device and internet connection and also ready to operate. But now they are not commanding me when to start the work and even not providing me my login credentials so that i can operate... I questioned to my team leader whether they are going to pay me for these idle days as I am on standby totally by their side... They neglected my right by saying that 'you will not suppose to get salary of these idle days after certification....
Now here comes the question that am I right to take my stand or they are right in their statement...

Plz help me...

Hello,

You are eligible to get the salary as per terms and conditions mentioned in your employment contract/letter of appointment.

Hey,

Do you have a contract of employment as such between your company and you that you have signed?

Dear shubham,

As such you should be eligible to get salary as per the terms in the contract unless there are any terms in it which are contrary to it. A reading of your contract would be helpful to give correct advise. You can send a soft copy of your contract to my mail ID advsanjaynarayandas@gmail.com, if you want me to give it a read. But, otherwise in general you are eligible to be paid. A notice from an advocate to your employer will help your cause.

Hoping you get paid soon.
