Can consideration for purchasing a property in India be settled abroad by 2 NRI's in between. The property will be registered in India. Or is it obligatory that the payment be made in India only. I am a NRI and planning to purchase a propetry in India. The seller is also a NRI. He requests payment to him from my overseas account. Please advise.
