divorce

hi,

i had filed for divorce on July 21st  in the Thrissur high court in Kerala. My first hearing was on December 21st. The lawyer says he had sent the divorce notice to the opposite party in the month of july. he stays in Bangalore.

Does it take so long to receive the notice. I appeared for the first hearing, and since the opposite party di not come they have given the next date as march 17th.

wht can be done in this stage.

how can i find what has happened to the first notice that was sent.

Please take the permission and send it to police station as well.  Talk to your lawyer.

And it does not take so long.....registry post takes 4-5 days , max 7 days not more than that , your husband is playing smart, he is escaping and not recieving the summons or playing some tricks. so be careful and talk to your lawyer.

Please take the permission of the court for publishing the notice in daily news papers of the concern city i.e Bangalore.
