The Whistleblowers Protection Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 26th August 2010.

It was passed by the Lok Sabha on 27th December 2011.

It was laid on the table of the Rajya Sabha on 28th December 2011, and has not yet been passed by the Rajya Sabha. It is still pending.
