Accquiring poa

Hi,

My father bought a land from a schedule caste person ....The motation is in the name of another SC person who was the friend of my father. The land is a non agricultural land...Now my father has expired , so forth I am seeking to gain PoA over that land in order to sell it. I am general category. Is it possible to take PoA from a SC person..or what is the exact procedure so that I could sell the land..

The land is of dehradun,uttrakhand..

Power of attorney can be given or taken from anyone irrespective of the caste creed or religion of the parties. You can take POA from the person and do transaction on his behalf for the property in question.

Ok...can't i nameover that land in my name..or suppose if that person dies..will then the poa work for me..and lastly can poa transfered irrespective of blood relation?
