Applicability of Standing Orders in UP

Contents of Notification No.9341(v)(ii)/SSSVI-3-57(S.O.)-1-77 dated Feb 17, 1979, published in UP Gazette, Extra deted 17.2.1979, page 2: In exercise of the powers under the provisions of sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the IE(SO) Act, 1946, the Governor, after giving notice of his intention so to do by Government Notification .....(above). is pleased to order that the provisions of the said Act shall with effe t from the date of publication of the notification in the Gazeetee apply to all ind.establishments which are factories within the meaning of clause (m) of Section 2 of the Factories Act 1948.. and wherein twenty or more workers are working or were working any day of the preceding twelve months, subject to the condition that the provisions of the IE(SO) Act, 1946 shall continue to apply to all the electric supply undertaking and all the water works wherein ten or more workmen are working as made applicable under Govt.Notification No.4751...dated May 30, 1978.
