Iam a lawyer practising at Madras High court. The IPR course is not  a tough course but difficult to understand. Please study some famous judgements and understand about the rights which are contemplated in the act. the globalisation of the commercial market makes the inventor, trader and related persons to protect their identity and the invention so as to avoid the infringement and passing off. The patent regime is begins in our country after WTO came into force. The future for the IPR is bright and the young persons will have to take it as their carreer and they can learn and earn in this field. for any help in academic interest please contact me .

nothing is tough in this world if one is determined to get it.

since you are not into this profession you may find it difficult but start it from some easy, short but a bit explanatory book wriiten for laymen. You will get it properly.

its really not tough.
