Greetings Sir!

Property rights of Christians in India is governed by the Indian Succession Act, 1925 and according to the Facts, the property is Self Acquired for Mother, but it is Ancestral for the Children, which does not allow them to will that property further and equal shares would be a divide among all the legal heirs.

The concept of ancestral property, to my knowledge, is unique to Hindu personal law. The Christian personal law or the  Indian Succession Act has no provisions as to ancestral property.
