Donated land for specific purpose, get back??

We donated half acre land with registered deed to a society for specific purpose thirty years back, but that society not utilized the land and society was not in force, we donated the same land with registered deed to another society for specific purpose without cancelling first one deed, this society too not utilizing the land. In revenue records our family name is still showing, not muted the land to others, legally who is owner now? First society recently called for winding up by registrar of societies, liquidator claiming the land, has liquidator right get back it? We try to go court for injunction, we can get injunction?

Was the Gift for the first Society given by a registered deed? If so you could not have gifted the same land to another society without first cancelling the first gift for non-comliance with the condition imposed in the deed. The second gift is void ab Initio. If the Liquidator appointed for the Society claims for the land, you may give notice of cancellation of the gift for non-compliance with the condition imposed in the gift deed. Issue notice through your Advocate to the Liquidator.

Gift deed is irrevocable document after the donee has accepted the gift.

Did you (or your family) cancel the gift deed ?

Subsequent gift for the same (donated) property, if earlier gift is not cancelled in records, is void, invalid and illegal.
