Submit an application to your state's district superintendent of police. The applicant's background will be checked by the police as part of their due diligence.
Police will send the reports to both the criminal branch and the national crime record bureau once it has been cleared.
The report will be sent to the appropriate police commissioner. The licence will be given if the report is suitable and the application is considered.
After receiving a gun licence, the applicant must contact a dealer to purchase the weapon. To do so, the consumer must place a pre-order for the gun from any licenced retailer of their choice.
The applicant must also complete the NDAL (National Database on Arms License) application form. Submit it to the Department of the Arms Act for inclusion in the National Database and the generation of a Unique ID.
