you have the fundamental right to convert yourself in jainism.

how to convert - for that contact a jain mandir or jain guru.

legally no obstacles for it.

Hi Sir,

Thank you for reply.  I would like to know if changing surname would have any implications if I am seeking educational loan with my father as guranteer.   Would bank allow guardian with different surname as guranteer in case of educationial loan?

Yes, it your fundamental right to observe any religion as you wish, there is no procedure prescribed for conversion. You may also have right to choose your surname, no prohibition in this regard too.
