Daughter's right 0n ancestral property - new ruling by supreme court

I had posted a doubt earlier on the issue of inheritance of ancestral property. In the same regard I read an article on google" on rights of daughter's on ancestral property" - the article released in November 2015 says that supreme court has passed a ruling that the equal share of ancestral property is possible only if the daughter & father are alive as of September 9,2005. Is that true?
