Hi all,

My mother has inherited a site from her deceased mother(bought by my deceased grandfather in my grandmother's name). Now my mother says she is the owner of the site and can will it to my elder brother. We are 3 siblings, myself, one elder and one younger brother.

Do Myself and my younger brother gave right in this property. Please answer.

It is her self acquired property,  so she can make a will.

No thats not her self acquired property. Its her mother's (my grandmother's) property. And my mother is the only daughter of her parents.

Property inherited from four generation is called ancestral property so questionrf property is not ancestral property, propefty belongef to your grand mother and after her demise ownership rights devolved to your mother and nature of property will be self acquired property of your mother.
