Defamation u/s 499,500 ipc

All hon'ble members,

Kindly be help urgently

Q. Can a complaint on Defamation U/s 499,500 IPC be filed before a criminal court through the Power of Attorney holder of the aggrieved?

       Please mention settled position of Law with citation on the point.

POA holder not allowed in crimanal complaints., unless the complaint is diabled.
