My friends father is a retired Defence person,Who has not availed his pension since 1983,due to some personal reasons.Gist of the case is as given below.Requesting all the experienced ,to guide me in this matter.

Pensioner was drawing pension by way of cash from the above office till 1983 June.Subsequently he lost the PPO Booklet & for some other reasons(personal),he could not collect his pension afterwards ,to till date.We had an enquiry with the local PDA office (address mentioned above),whom have confirmed that name of this particular pensioner is avialable in one of the registers there,but beyond that no proof of payment or cash disbursement could not be retrieved from the available old registers.They have also confirmed that as computerisation has happened after 1985,no such disbursement have been issued to this PPO no by way of pension.This pensioner now needs this money as hefinds it very difficult to support his medical requirements & immediate family.Arrears of pension outstanding & further dusbursals are kindly sought from his end.
