DOWRY IS NOT DEFINED IN IPC. IT IS MENTIONED IN IPC, THAT THE WORD 'DOWRY' SHALL HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS IN SECTION 2 OF THE DOWRY PROHIBITION ACT, 1961. IT IS
