My Divorce appeal was admitted on 4 Sep, 2017 by the chandigarh high court with below remarks.
"Appeal Admitted. To be heard within the period of 2 years"
I have filed application to the high court to hear the appeal on merits but it got dismissed.
Court says appeal to be heard on its merits on its turn.
My lawyer is misguiding me by saying that now your appeal will not be listed in 10 years.
Would request to please help with the next steps as the how my case be listed for final hearing a the 2 years admission period is completed n 4th Sep, 2019.
Should I request registrar to list the case on merits or file application in SC to direct HC to hear the appeal as per the directions of the high court.
Please advise.
