Do I need to pay my father's intentional debts?

My father is a fraud, who lives only by scamming people, who doesn't care about his children. We couldn't tolerate his behavior, So me and my sibling along with my mother are living separately for about 10 year's now. I being his legal heir to his property (Inherited from my grandfather), I'm afraid that he might be under debt intentionally so it would fall on my head. How can I save myself from his debt without loosing our family property!?

File a suit for partition and possession of ancestral property with the relief of permanent injunction against your father qua creating a thrd party interest in the inherited property through a local prudent lawyer.
