There is every provision to file DVC even after or before 498A.There is no need for applying bail since it is a civil matter but proceeding done in criminal way.Till u atttened the court there is no harm if u abscond from proceedings the is a chance that court can issue a BAILABLE WARRANT.Even if u do not atttened after BW then NONBIALABLE WARRANT IS ISSUED.
