employement bond

Hello,

My friend is an employee of a start up engg. consultancy in Bangalore and was the first employee and along with  colleagues signed a bond in return for the training provided by the company but he had a 3 year bond while others had 2 years, my query is,

1. The amount specified in bond and the period were higher but training period was same - no special training was provided to my friend

2. The training  was actually on the job training and they did actual billable hours - while being on a business visa

3. While my friend  has maintained the contract the same is being broken by the company

4. He was not given an option to resign earlier - stating the bond but now thay want him to resign without giving time to look for other options - this is unfair use of the bond terms

Is there any chance of redressal and can he ask the company to give time till the actual bond period ends? this will give him a few more months to get a job.

can you provide the copy of the bond executed between your friend and company.

Hi.!!!

I am working in a MNC. I have signed a bond with the company for 3yrs. Company had send me to Germany for training purpose for 53 days. But, the bond is totally one sided. The company has not given me the copy. I was asked to sign the bond on the day I was leaving for Germany. The conditions were not revealed to me. The company is not giving the bond copy. Its a six lakhs rupee bond. If the company terminates me then also I am required to pay the bond money + all other expenses. Though the company spend only 2.5 lakhs including everything. They gave us 15 euros / day allowance saying I am not confirmed employee, but for confirmed employee is 50 euros/day. In the interview they said it is 5 day working. Now it is 7 days & then 2 days off shift schedule. Even we are not getting all off saying its project stage. Though operators are getting this in project stage. Even they deducted the bonus in Dec.

This company is fully exploiting me.

The company has not given me the copy. I was asked to sign the bond on the day I was leaving for Germany. The conditions were not revealed to me. The company is not giving the bond copy. Its a six lakh rupees bond. If the company terminates me then also I am required to pay the bond money + all other expenses which exceeds 6 lakhs (this was informed to us by HR manager in Dec'10). Though the company spend only 2.5 lakhs including everything. They gave us 15 euros / day allowance saying I am not confirmed employee, but for confirmed employee is 50 euros/day.  Instead of Business class rule they ssend me in economy class. 9 other colleagues were with me who have signed the bond & are suffering the same. We all had to live in Germany in a flat with just 1 bathroom.

In the interview they said it is 5 day working. Now it is 7 days & then 2 days off shift schedule. Even we are not getting all off saying its project stage. It was said we will get OFF days from Jan'11 but now they say from Apr'11. I am working extra since 1 year without any extra money. Earlier our canteen & transport facility was free & now they started deducting money, which was also not mentioned to us earlier. Though operators are getting this in project stage. Even they deducted the bonus in Dec.

This company is fully exploiting me.
