Is the prosecution evidence before accused is mandatory for the court?

It is not mandatory for the accused to be present before court during prosecution witness evidence.

Thanq sir..What the court do?, if the accused under trial is remanded in judicial custody in other case in other state, if the prosecution evidence is before it pending for long?
