Did you ask for "overtime" payment/ compensation from your employer for working 12 hours a day?
Whether provisions of Factories Act, 1948 are applicable in your case ?

There could be collective action and/or the workmen can raise an industrial dispute.

1. First make sure that you are covered under the Factories Act?
2. Guess your in-time and out-time will prove your total working hours. If there is no such method, then you have to somehow gather evidence to prove your working hours.
3. If the issues is only related to extra working hours and non payment of overtime and nothing else and you wish to continue with this company, then you may first try to verbally convince the HR or may send a soft email. Going hard or legal on the company will surely aggravate the situation and won't be good for your career, unless you want to fight.
