One of my father's frnd who belongs to SC category has filed a False Harijan Act(3[1][10]) case with 451,294,506B, 34 IPC on my father and mama's name. When he has filed FIR my father was not even at that location where the incident took place. I contacted the SDOP of the area who is doing the primary inquiry on this case with the proofs that my father was somewhere else. The SDOP knows the complete case very wel but he is did not agreed to remove my father's name from the case as he was saying that people will think that he has taken bribe from me.I tried to convince him but he is not convinced yet and asked me to take bail from the court.
I think if the person is not present at the place where the incident took place then my father's name can be easily removed from the FIR. Kindly suggest me how to proceed in this particular case.
