Well, you have got a new email ID! Sir, it gives me great pleasure to have you back on my thread after a long long time. Welcome. Welcome very much. The thread was started with hopes of initiating discussion on:

Depends on whether violation of law is involved or not.

This reply is not getting anywhere Sir. In the former, X attacks Y & it may involve motives, planning etc. It is for Y to act.

In the latter, showing the other cheek .... Oh, where are we, where are we. Can't blame X. Nothing works in practicality, only more harm gets done, even in the high profile groups & it is all spur of the moment you see. Nothing can be predicted & X can act in multiple ways. X can very well get offended / angry / anxious / surprised & counter the attack with attack. There are motives in the latter sort of attack too. "Y wants to silence some issue by force & thus X is vulnerable if he does not act". X is at least forced to act strategically later on. So X has to ring the bell, handle Y; put Y in his place in the full view of the society around & sound the deterrent. Lest, X's vulnerability increases that is all, at least in the today's deceitful society that it is all becoming (Society is turning more & more unethical, more & more cruel, cut throat, blatant & turning to conspiracy, conniving, tricking, cheating).

                     "What could X do? (What are the options before X?)"

In hypothetical cases or thoughts, nothing works practically. Better discuss the real issue/ problem, if there is any.

Y owes money to X (More than 1 year) - Matter is known to quiet some people. X reminded Y on the dues 8-10 times. Nothing happened. X spotted Y & reminded again. Y thought it fit to silence X & fought with X without any other issue. X wants the money, justice & wants to plan strategically for safety.

Summarily, it is assured that this is a real life happening. It is felt that actual Names, place etc identifiers should not be published & so has not been detailed.

For 6-7 months Y was absconding. Then, after 6 months, Y did drama of difficulties. After 3 more months X saw Y spending money like anything, but not paying the money that he owes to X. Then, X, a person who respects self dignity very highly realised that Y was misusing his goodness. Moreover, X is not in a position to allow such a thing when he himself is under dire straights; told Y of his own difficulties & wanted Y to pay the dues. Then  8 - 10 remainders. Last weel, X spotted Y again & remainded him of dues. This is when Y thought it fit to silence the issue & fought with X.

As already recorded, X wants the money, justice & wants to plan strategically for safety; factually also wants to cut Y to size & as well plan for insulation against brawl, undignified talks / fights, embarrassments etc.
