Giving religion to child

I have married through inter religious marriage system. Basically i have no personal issue about religion. Whereas my wife is inclined towards christainity, because she was brought up in that way.

I am working in  govt sector and all my certificate shows hindu as religion.

So pls guide me what religion i have to give for my child ... so that my family will not have any legal problem in future...

I will be grateful to you..

there is absolutely no law saying which religion should the child belong to - father or mother..... it is personal belief, it can be any.

Make your child as Islamic... Seriously....

What is in the Religion ???

Make you child a beautiful human-being.

So that he/she would respect you for the rest of his/her life.

Make her understand the citizenship of India....

So that he/she can implement his/her rights in a proper way to

build our society a better place..

just like you 2 have done by marrying each other from different religion...

All blessing to the baby...

you have a parental responsibility on your child ...

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     17 February 2015

The child can adopt the religion of either of the parent if both profess and preach different religion.  You consult your spouse and decide what religion to be given  to your child, it is mutual.
