Gpa in favour of father.

A DVC and Divorce cases are already filed in the Court and they are at trial stage. I am the Petitioner / Complainant in the said cases.

Now due to my official preoccupations I am not in a position to attend the Court every time. Hence, I have executed a GPA in my father's favour to enable him to handle the case on my behalf along with the Counsel.

The said GPA has to be submitted to the Court now.

Please advise me the procedure to submit the GPA to Court with a Petition / Memo and under what section of Cr PC.

Yes, the GPA must be submitted in the court. Your father may submit it on the date of hearing or on any date prior to it with proper list of documents performa.

Thanks for your reply. Please clarify whether the GPA can be simply handed over or we have to make any Petition or Memo the purpose.  Is there any relevant  Act / section dealing with the subject.

Give GPA in the court alongwith list of documents performa.

You have to file the GPA along with an Application seeking permission of the Court to allow you to appoint a POA.
