how can a eye witness proved fraud in court

if an eye witness is fraud and he does not even identify the accused against whom he is presented in a case. how eyewitness can be proved fraud before case proceeds?

is there any method to escape the accused to come in front of that witness so that he will remain unaware of face of accused.

can this be proved by lodging another case against eyewitness by accused?
