How much security is required for anticipatory bail ?

If the bail petition of a boy (in case of dowry) is rejected in session court, he could move to high court. But how much money is required to be submitted (as security) to get required bail (for high court) ??

The Bail amount is decided by the Court. In such cases it is usually somewhere between 10,000 to 25,000 per head with or without surety of the like amount.

Even big criminals have been bailed for just Rs 5000/- . courts give bail like steam idle in fast food joints.

Depends. The surity amount is at the descrition of the court.

Recently an NRI was granted bail by Delhi HC at the security amount of Rs. 10 Lacs.
