How to get call details

How to get someone's call details for future reference without letting them know about it.
will this have legal conscequences.

With court order only you can get it. or Police people can get on their part of investigation.

1. Officially, normal public members CANNOT obtain anybody's call records, for any reason, whatsoever & whichsoever.

2. Police & other Statutory dept., may obtain call records, AFTER following due procedures of law, BUT only in pursuance of some cognizable offences.

3. However, there are twisted ways to obtain anybody's call records, thru what is typically called as the "dark web" services.

what are the penalties for this?
