How to verify issued khata

Hi respected Lawyers,

My Name is Rohan Kapoor. I am residing in Karnataka & bought a house property where builder has issued me 1 BDA khata on his name. I would like to verify it by myself @ BDA office. Could anyone help me how to verify by showing Khata copy @ BDA office? How to know whether it is A-khata or B-khata ? To whom should I contact @ BDA office to get correct information like it is original only. Lets say if I go to BDA office with copy of given Khata then can I get original of the same @ office which may confirm that khata is correct ?

Please help me.

If you have got the number of the property then apply for the property extract, you will get the details.

Hi Mr. Rajeev,

Thank you for the reply. Wha is meaning of property extract and where can I find document details ? can I get in BDA or registrar office ? Who is POC for that ?
