Immediate arrest in 498a/dv cases

rules should be followed but now police has the full power to decide what to do and what not to do, money will play a major game now regarding the 498A cases.

In 498A cases, the police are under instructions (at least in Kerala) not to effect arrests without the express approval of the SP of the District.
