Income tax returns filing - doubts

Dear Professional Experts..

Can you please clarify certain points regarding Income Tax returns...

I have capital Gains from both Debt & Equity Mutual Funds.

I also have capital Gains from Direct Equity Shares.

Can you please tell What is

(a). Short Term Capital Gains (Other than covered under section 111A)

(b). Short Term Capital Gains (Covered under section 111A)
