That initial document sets out the basic outline of the lawsuit, the who-did-what facts as well as an overview of the injuries or damage caused. If you don't know all the facts when the last moment comes to file, you can file now and amend later.

If in the original petition, some facts have not been mentioned or wrongly mentioned or after filing the original petition, new facts came into knowledge, then you have to move application seeking amendments and if the court allows your application then you can file amended petition. You take the help of your advocate to file the same, as there is no prescribed proforma for it.
