Effect of calamities etc. can be taken as universal truth and no futher corroboration is necessary by examining witness in the matter

The Act of God is an idiom or maxim and your writing "God was not examined in the court" is ridiculous. Still however, there are instances when men themselves create some calamities like fire in the factory etc.and blame it on Act of God. Such cases need to be examined properly by the court.
