PF and ESI calculation has nothing to do with working days. The deductions are to be made on the gross salary calculated. If you are paying salary for 31 days, then the PF is to be deducted from the basic amount that you have for this period. Same way you have to calculate and deduct the ESI. Working days only apply for salary calculation and your PF and ESI will automatically follow from the salary you have calculated.

Sir ,
Even if worker works for 1 day in a month ( eg: Joined on 31st Aug 2018) would PF & ESI be deducted from his salary and remitted to athourities .

Pls redraft the query so to convey a clear message.
You can also meet/interact with PRO/APFC, Inspector in juridictional/nearest office of EPFO/ESIC.
Or handover the matter to your legal cell for proper legal opinion by a very able LOCAL counsel specializing in concerned filed of law e.g; Labor matters as in your case, and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules, precedence, latest judgments etc …. and worth his/her salt, can advise you and even help you.
Avoid IT’s and entities loitering at various online portals to allure and fleece unsuspecting/innocent/hapless querists many of which advertise with pictures of sick and old indivisuals and claim to be some Lawyer ( infact a Liar) and flaunt unknown firms as Law Firms ( Infact Liar’s firms) ….and are good for nothing Mufatkhora’s ( Freemongers) looking for bakra/shikar…
Online discussions are not substitute to in person discussions with a very able counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in concerned field of law.
There are such very able counsels at each location.
Check for such counsels at LOCAL e.g;, Labor Court/CGIT, CAT, School-Educational Tribunal, Civil courts, HC, SC … Such counsels can also provide proper legal opinion in writing and also draft so as to suit your long term interest.
You can also try for FREE legal aid from legal Aid center (DLSA) that is usually within LOCAL courts compex preferably from a counsel specializing in Labor matters.
